Portsmouth Lifeguards will be holding their annual Charity Christmas Day Dip again this year at the Southsea Beach Cafe, commencing at 10.30am on Christmas Day. The annual sponsored and fundraising festive dip will see some of their hardier lifeguard members run into the icy water amongst other groups of people in order to raise some much needed funds to help the club keep beach goers safe during the summer weekends.
We will welcome anyone who would like to take part in the chilly dip with the opportunity to come along and join in from 10am – feel free to dress up in any way you wish and supporters will be able to help the Charity by donating on the day either by contributing to the collection box, contactless donations by card or through our Justgiving page http://justgiving.com/psvl or via our website portsmouthlifeguards.org
Please be advised that there is no changing facility or showers available and participants are responsible for their own welfare, although there will be a lifeguard observing on the beach during the 10.30 lifeguard dip only.
