LIFEGUARDS RESCUE TOWER
Our beach lookout tower has seen many years of great service. The tower provides a lifeguard with a heightened view of the beach and the shoreline, ensuring more of the patrol area can be seen.
A lifeguard will use a pair of binoculars to view bathers and try to spot a person in difficulty, the lifeguard will also always have a torpedo buoy and throw bag for immediate deployment should a situation occur.
The tower is also capable of being collapsed down for storage in our boat house after use.
While a lifeguard is operating on the tower, they will use a VHF radio to be in constant communication with the HQ and the team.

RESCUE PADDLE BOARDS – HURRICANE S-TECH BOARDS
We have 2 rescue paddle boards in our club.
They are designed by Hurricane and made to a high-quality standard.
While having a soft EVA skin on top, and a slick bottom, they have a layer of glass under that to give the board strength, stiffness and durability.
These paddle boards are used by our beach lifeguards to patrol our area and carry out rescues to areas where it may take longer to reach by swimming.
They also provide a stable platform for tired swimmers to rest and lifeguards have a higher view above the waterline.
Yellow in colour and marked up as a RESCUE craft they are identifiable to all beach users both in and out of the water.
