One of our own members, Jack Allman, a 17 year old from Southsea, will be undertaking the challenge of paddleboarding across the solent in aid of charity. He will be completing this on the 25th of September, to support two charities, Cancer Reaearch UK and Portsmouth and Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards.

Our new 6.8 meter lifeboat will be ready for next summer. The nice people over at Ribcraft have began the build process which can be seen below. The fuel tanks and hull of the boat are now completed. The panels for the coxswain, where the wheel and throttles will be going are completed also, along with the crew panels which will include systems such as GPS for the crew to manage. We are very excited for the arrival of our new boat, and cannot wait until next summer!
